The Dutch delegates to the Opium Conference asked for a bit of the consignments of British Camphor to which the Supt. of Supplies objected on the ground that the export of camphor was forbidden and their compound preparations when camphor is issued are issued by the supplying countries containing a declaration to the effect that the articles in question may be used (for medicinal or other purposes) within their limits.
Collins wishes that the laws and regulations of the Customs, when examined with answers to the enquiries desired, the Dutch notifications regarding export of camphor will meet the delegate's requirements.
